This adventure in understanding Biblical Worldview will bring cause and purpose to the hearts of middle-schoolers. It will be a breath of fresh air that will add tremendous value to what you are already teaching at home, by helping your sons and daughters to look at the world through the lens of the Bible!

It is vital that parents come to this interactive workshop as well. This will be the most important event you and your teen will participate in all year. It's THAT good!

The fee of $10 (or $15, if not pre-registered) is for materials and the facility. The cost is low so families may have funds available to purchase Dr. Overman's curriculum for on-going learning at home. Please come prepared! An offering will also be taken to support Worldview Matters, Dr. Overman's non-profit organization.

Purpose:
  • To be "transformed by the renewing of our minds" (Rom. 12:1-2)
  • To learn how to distinguish God's truth from the counterfeits around us
  • To make practical applications of truth, bringing meaning to everything we (especially teens) do

Value and Benefits:
  • Catch a vision for life that really makes sense!
  • Bring meaning to mowing the lawn, washing the dishes, or learning math skills!
  • Become a Truth Chaser par excellence!

Content: Using vivid illustrations, numerous video clips of real-life examples (such as Dr. George Washington Carver), and interactive teaching methods, participants will learn how a Biblical worldview enables people (no matter what their age) to take every thought to the obedience of Christ (II Cor. 10:4-5). Two powerful tools will be introduced: The "Truth and Baloney Detector," and the "Awesome Activator." Don't miss this!

For a sneak preview of Dr. Carver's life, view the short clip below:

Participants will also see how rejecting the Biblical Worldview leads to bizarre consequences for individuals and society. You won't believe what Dr. Overman and his wife discovered when they did random video interviews of people on the street, just asking them to define "right and wrong" and to share how they tell the difference!
